RAD Training

Jun 10, 2021

The Ladue Police Department is offering a free Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) training for women, ages 12 and older.  The course is a four-day training that utilizes easy, effective, and proven self-defense tactics to provide women with the knowledge and skills to defend against various types of assault.

This course, for women only, begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance, while progressing on to the basic hands-on defense training.

The courses are taught by certified RAD Instructors sponsored by the Ladue Police Department and Creve Coeur Police Department.  During this course you will be provided a manual which outlines the entire physical defense program for reference and continuous personal growth.

If you are interested in this course please contact Police Officer Jennifer Hendricks by email, leaving your name, address, and phone number.  The selection will be chosen by order of receipt.

A criminal background check of all participants will be completed, and a waiver must be signed at the first class. You must attend each class for certification of completion.
