PERMIT PORTAL

The Ladue Building Department accepts over the counter permits to be submitted online. This includes plumbing, mechanical, tree removal and small plan building permits. Any projects requiring ARB review are NOT eligible to be submitted through the portal. Permit requests with plans for review (such as a bathroom or kitchen remodel, flatwork, driveway, etc) must be uploaded in PDF format at the time of submission. Failure to do so will result in the delay of permit reviews. 

If you have your permit number and contractor's ID (see contractor search) you can also request inspections through the portal. We will confirm the requested inspection date and time. Your request is not a guarantee of an appointment. Please allow 48 hours lead time for your requests as our schedule fills up quickly. We will do our best to accommodate requests. You can also request inspections by telephone 314-997-6308 or email inspection requests. You must have your permit number and address of project to complete your inspection request. We will respond with a confirmation of inspection as soon as possible. A request is not a guarantee of inspection date or time. We appreciate your patience at this time.

CONTRACTORS:  If you are not already registered in our system, please enter "New Contractor Registration" in the contractor field and attach a valid certificate of insurance to your permit request. We will then register your company.  

If you have previously pulled permits in Ladue, please DO NOT register as a new contractor. It will create duplicate license entries.		 Tree removal permits are required when any live tree over 6" DBH is desired to be removed. All documents and photographs must be uploaded at the time of application. Incomplete submissions will delay approvals.  If you feel there is a property maintenance issue you may submit a Code Enforcement Complaint request through our online portal. You MUST have the exact address of the location where the violation exists. All contact information will remain anonymous on complaints submitted to the City. This information is needed for staff follow-up on concerns.

Request for Permit Extension

When requesting your extension, please list the scope of work, the reason the work has not been completed and the anticipated date for completion. Once reviewed you will be contacted regarding your request.
