ZONING AND PLANNING


Ladue's first City Plan was created in 1939, and the zoning districts have mostly remained consistent with that initial plan. Subsequent plans have since been developed, with the most recent Comprehensive Plan finalized in December of 2021.

In 2022, Ladue also established a Strategic Plan with high priority action items.

Ladue's Zoning Regulations are governed by the Zoning Ordinance #1175. This document has been modified numerous times through the years to help protect the City's open, residential character.

Zoning and Planning functions are administered by the City Planner who housed in the Building Department offices.
